Preliminary Examination Begins for St. Clair Shores Man Accused of Voting Twice

The preliminary examination for Frank Prezzato, a 68-year-old St. Clair Shores resident accused of voting both absentee and in-person during the August primary, commenced on Friday. Assistant Attorney General Richard Cunningham presented four witnesses, including election officials who testified about voting procedures and record-keeping. Defense attorney Vincenzo Manzella highlighted inconsistencies in the prosecution’s evidence, noting that all individuals flagged on Election Day were permitted to vote. The hearing is scheduled to continue on January 17.
